music is my entire life. obviously by my screen name you can tell that I love Aretha, she is my favourite singer. I may be young but I have somewhat of an old soul. I like some artists of tday (Joss Stone, Fantasia Barrino, Kelly Clarkson etc) but for the most part, I prefer the stuff from back in the day when people sang with feeling and soul. I love Aretha, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Sarah Vaughn, Gladys Knight, Mavis Staples, etc etc. I also love the gospel singers of today and yesterday: Mahalia Jackson, Clara Ward, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Marvin Sapp, Cece Winans and many, many more. feel free to talk to me, I love to meet new people. |
