Music is my number one passion in life (listening to music, not playing it. I've not got very much patience to play an instrument, although I would love to) I like most kinds of music and my tastes expand from progressive to classical. I love 'Tool', 'Nine Inch Nails' and 'Aerosmith,' but there are far more that I could list off. I never listen to music that has been done half-heartedly. It's easy to tell when an artist is just in it for the money.
Books I read include Edgar Allen Poe, Anne Rice and Oscar Wilde, as well as reading amateur fiction on the internet. My reading preferences usually sway towards horror and the bizarre. I like reading things that are very strange and original, such as the Franz Kafka story Metamorphosis. If i read romance I prefer not to read heterosexual romance, as I feel they are always cliche and often are not done well. Saying that, it's incredibly hard to find a solid homosexual story as well. This is why romance is almost always disappointing...
Movies I like include 'Interview with the Vampire,' 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch,' 'Nightmare before Christmas' (before all the assholes made it into a fashion craze) and 'American Psycho.' Keep in mind I like other films, but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.
The basic things you should know about me are that I hate babies, I hate monotony, I hate people all want fit in and be popular, I hate weakness. I love philosophy, exploring the unknown and watching the crime and investigation channel. |
