Music makes the world go round, brings people together and always makes me have a huge smile. Some bands and DJs that rock my world are:
Dave Clarke, The Advent, Surgeon, Friendly Fires, Foo Fighters, The Enemy, Chase & Status, DJ Shadow, Lee Coombs, DJ Krush, Massive Attack, Turin Brakes, Slam, Sander van Doorn, Jon Carter, Kings of Convenience, Jose Gonzalez, British Sea Power, Autechre, Booka Shade... too many to mention!
I'm also very inquisitive and like to find out what makes people tick and I think everyone should be an advocate for RAOK (random acts of kindness). I'm a great believer in fate and destiny and what goes around comes around so you should always try to be the best you can.
I like to do my bit for charities and a few that I support are:
Anthony Nolan Trust - I conquered my fear of heights and took part in a 400 foot abseil to help raise vital funds for their work.
Crisis - I am a volunteer at their Christmas shelters. They do some amazing work for homeless people and I am very proud to be a supporter and volunteer.
WWF - It makes me sad to know that we are responsible for destroying our natural habitat and wildlife. We should all work together to keep the world a beautiful place.
Finally, I would just like to say the world is a huge place but every once in a while you come across amazing people in unlikely circumstances who gain a special place in your heart. Life can't be more beautiful than that.
