I am a proud parent of 2 girls ages 15 and 13. I am an avid cyclist (mtb) I am self teaching guitar and I am the biggest lover of cats I know besides my kids. I've been accused of spoiling mine to a very high degree........I've tried my hand at writing "poetry" of sorts, I'll stick a couple here for your reading enjoyment, or whatever you get from it I suppose. My writing seems to come most often to me in a moment of feeling down or low. Depressed if you will. I don't profess to be a poet, amatuer at best in my opinion, but I have been encouraged to continue and thought feedback on a public level might be useful no matter if it is positive or negative.

In life's station
alone I stand
awaiting arrival
but it never comes
many walk past
none walk to
I always walk for
but it never comes
I can see it
I can smell it
I can hear it
but I cannot touch it
there is someone
standing close by
next to me
my shadow

Why do people feel the need to compile a massive list of bands they like........is there a prize for the longest list ?? Most often they are overlooked as just too damned many to bother reading anyway..........pick a couple that might be a topic of discussion as opposed to a stupid "this band rocks more than that one" argument. I mean, who REALLY takes the time out of their life to read the names of bands YOU listen to. Are you THAT special ?!?! No.................you aren't, stop kidding yourself.
I have 11 piercings.....all on or about my head. No ink, YET.........but one is already planned out and where......time is what is holding me back at this pioint.
As for my ink, I have decided on a roughly 6" section of a front chainring (the large sprocket the chain goes around near the pedals on a bicycle......in case you were unfamiliar) on the outside of my left calf. It will be done in a way as to appear that the centre teeth are dug into my leg with maybe a droplet of red blood just to add colour.....not sure yet. As a cyclist, this HAS happened and it would sort of "define" me to those who know me, and tell other who don't, that I ride. The only one I ever came close to actually doing....it makes the most sense of all. |
