I'm interested in virtual communities and virtual communication.
Here's World Famous SF poet (Lawrence Ferlinghetti ) reading in SF: http://video.google.com/ videoplay?docid=4506818932847976083
(you'll have to put the URL back together )
I tend to be a night owl when it comes to virtuality. The daylight is too beautiful to waste sitting in front of a screen.
Night hawks and night flights of fancy featuring the twisted nocturnal ramblings of local lunatics of which no doubt there are vast numbers lurking within their secret hearts of darkness for I am not alone, I'm sure the restless ones are not demure about their nocturnal notions and bizzare twisty lurid motions and it's an odds on favorite to believe that during the night most of us were conceived as were the thoughts moving on doves wings pursued by the hawk in night flight the hunter and the hunted, the punter and the punted
Still, the waters running deep At last subside welcoming sleep not for me, still restless, awake watching the skies welcoming my oncoming fate
Deeper far than the day could breed Night restores me to a deeper need Deeper than the day could read Night, the dark, on bended knee Reaches out and covers all Reduces our imperfections to small Seemingly idiotic quirks Wearing that insouciant innocently quiet smirk |
