Some months ago I've started to cuddle the idea that Time is an illusion as it's a human concept -there's no such thing as 1 second in Nature, nor 1 meter for that matter, and neither numbers-. Oddly enough, with the two major systems in use, Metric and English, Time is the only constant between them, while basically all the other measurements vary (kilometers and miles, for instance).
Just a thought, might not mean anything...

66 pages in PDF format; you MIGHT need to upgrade Adobe Reader if the downloading is too slow. What is all about? Well, give it a try. I believe you'll find it... pretty interesting. :)

Never understood the "dumb blond" concept. Then why are there so many brunettes converting into Blond-ism?

One of the few quotes I like to share: "[...] So how can you continue to see the world as real, if the self that's determining it to be real [Consciousness], is intangible?" ~Ramtha~
So... what is Consciousness if it can't be nor touched nor defined? Ok, it's easy to say "Our awareness", but what is it, a spirit? If so, what is that 'spirit' made of? What is it's substance, if there's any meaning of 'substance' in the sub-atomic world...

What a marvelous Gift. :D

Certain songs are just... timeless. For me, Blondie's "The Tide Is High" still gives me the chills and a broad smile with it's lovely tune, making me light enough to float a little -odd, with my 80 plus kgs.
Oh, by the way, Internal Martial Arts reinforces the body's immune system, while External M.A. empowers the body! Sadly not many know this difference.

My favourite Samuel Chamberlain's finest gastronomy quote resonates from the past
"The gentle art of gastronomy is a friendly one. It hurdles the language barrier, makes friends among civilized people, and warms the heart."

Why is so-called god always addressed with "him", or with "he", and not with "her", "she", or "it"? It's totally against the concept of being universal. I don't get it, unless the church is doing it on purpose to make sure only male is the ruler! After all, why does a priest has to preach about family values if he isn't even married?

It's kinda "normal" to see Gandhi's quotes a bit everywhere; what I find a little odd is to not find any of Krishnamurti's! Why?

So... Italy has won this Sucker World Cup... I don't get it: why do 22 people on a field, chasing and kicking a ball, cursing and swearing, spitting and pushing each other, get paid so much while others who work their entire lifetime will never see such amount of money? Or what about those who try to change this planet for the better aren't even considered? I don't understand how does the mass of people get fooled by these -confidentially speaking- useless events (not only about football); so much money wasted that gives nothing at the end if not the illusion of being a winner.
One aspect I personally find juicy, and quite surprising too, is the amount of female fans showing more skin than required in a football match.
So kicking balls has it's positive sidekick... Ouch...

Daria Morgendorffer... I think she's a hot chick, despite being only a cartoon!

... uh, flippin' for an animated character doesn't mean I earn a one-way ticket to the nut house... right? Or left?

I strongly believe in internal martial arts (I.M.A.) such as Tai-Chi, but there are others as well like Yiquan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, Qigong. I've done one year of Tai-Chi (october '04 till may '05, not exactly a year... ); due to some problems I didn't attend the following year's lessons, but have continued practicing by myself from late july '05 till now in the garage, barefooted and wearing only the boxers, even during the winter months and close-to ambient temperature (pretty chilling indeed!). Together with internal I've also done, and still do, the external part using basic JKD (Jeet Kune Do) concepts. I try to do it daily and for now manage to do both at least 4 times weekly!
Permit me to please advice whoever's reading to try out INTERNAL martial arts as it gives a great overall physical benefit; Oriental concept of healing is different as it cures the whole body while the Western ones deals with that particular sickness. I'm not saying it's totally wrong, but sadly side affects are always around the corner! In fact, even if not that promulgated (at least here in Italy), there are many Western doctors who travel in Oriental countries to find alternative cures. Another different concept is to use your OWN body to cure itself, using little or no external medication.
There are two sort of "non-positive" aspects though in I.M.A.: it's a SLOW process and it might be very boring for who aspects action! To give a fair idea, it's like taking care of a flower -or tree, plant, etc.: it doesn't bloom overnight, but you need constancy, love and patience. Each of these three is a Universe by itself and they all require personal time and dedication.
We're used in wanting results right away, and I'm telling you, you will NOT FULLY find these positive results in a day, nor in a week, nor in a month's practice; I've personally found them after these months of -relatively- persistent practice. You WILL find a little amount though, but if you truely manage to be constant and have patience, oh boy! you'll feel new and fullfilled!
The first time I've discovered Tai-Chi was several years ago from a very late TV program (after midnight); I've then imitated a few movements in the living room with the lights out, not having a clue of what I was doing (AND carefully avoiding the surroundings), but insisted in doing those actions slowly. I... can't describe the astonishing feeling, it was as if all the atoms in my body have expanded, making me lighter, like as if I've had air in beneath my skin... I felt like a balloon. It may sound pretty much as a crappy explanation, I'm sorry, but it's the only example I have available! Just hope you all will manage to feel these beneficial and concrete results.

I thought that those pics I've found via web, about women carrying heavy stuff with her man on her side -or several steps ahead- carrying a much smaller load, were a joke! Today after work I saw at the grocery a middle-old lady carrying the world's second largest shopping bag, while her perhaps-the-same-age husband was just holding a coupla bottles (not whip cream).
Gad, how sad can we wankers be?

"I hate hateing, I love loveing!".
... I should eat less Tabasco!...

Happy -belated- New Year, folks! :D
Just wondering: d'you think it's normal for someone like me to finish a 60 ml bottle of Tabasco a week? I've discovered it only a coupla months ago in this new supermarket (not many well-known-worldwide products are imported in Italy), and couldn't stop splashing it in almost every dish, some drinks included. If you're wondering, the answer is: No, my ass is not on fire! ^ ^
Stay tuna, uhhh, tuned!

I've decided to burn some of my natural animal fat with swimming (burning with water?! Now that's logical!). I've started a week ago without the instructor and it's actually fun in the outside pool; at least I've learned how to float better than a rock. There's a tiny little eeny-weeny sidekick though: till now I swim better on my back, and these days were blazing sunny. Result: I look like Captain LobsterŪ, red in the front body with a white strip on my eyes, white bandanna (due to eye-goggles and swimming cap), and on top of it my back's white; guess I'm ready to seek the ocean to find Nemo!
At work some guys looked at me scratching their heads; one in particular laughed quite hard his bollocks almost popped off his package. Wanker!

HAAALP!!!!
It's the first time I flip for a female dancer (no, I didn't flip for male dancers before, and have no intentions to start now!)... and I don't even know her name!!!!! Does anyone know WHO IS THAT HOT (English?) CUTIE DANCING HER CLOTHES OFF (she changes them faster than Wonderbra, pardon, Wonderwoman...) IN THE VIDEO "Push Up" FROM "Freestylers"!? GAD, she makes me go NUTS!!! The first time I saw her I was like O_O with my jaws dangling on my knees. She's STEAMING BLAZING HOT!!... Er no, that was me burning my lips after hugging the TV and kissing the cathode-ray tube!
>_<

Scarlett Johansson's a cutie... :P

One question flashed today (well, the day I've updated!): which computer pointing device does Mickey Mouse use?
^_^

I'm quite an easy going person. Eurasian and living in Italy for too many years, don't eat nor red nor white meat, I'm black belt (11th Dan) in laziness, trying to do some home-made-music (done a couple: "Interferences.mp3" and "Hammer.mp3"!), my favourite PC games are "Operation Flashpoint" (mainly using it's official editor) + "NASCAR_SEASON_2003" (mainly trying to UNDERSTAND it's unofficial editor...), and finished reading -chronologicaly- six of Mr Andy McNab's wonderful masterpieces and Mr Chris Ryan's "The Kremlin's device" in less than three months (my record: never touched anything different from a phonebook.)!

Come to think of it, I can't stand those who are ungrateful, take things for granted without appreciation and most of times, on top of it, COMPLAIN about them -whatever they are.

P.S.:... yes, it's a duck on my head!
o_O

P.P.S.: I think (Miss? Mrs?) Joanna Going is absolutely strikingly beautiful! (She's my n°1 favourite!)
:D
And so is (Miss? Mrs?) Jennifer Connelly.

P.P.S.: Miss Lene Marlin, please remain humble like now, you're a wonder!
:)
