My interests/hobbies include reading, writing, poetry, illustrating, needlepoint/crafts and usually a camera to hand.
Travelling is a delight when possible - Italy being a favourite destination in Europe and Scotland within the British Isles.
I remain busy involved with community issues and an active social life. Also enjoy various genres in music, classic/romantic TV drama, movies and theatre.
I'm married, a mother who also loves being grand-mum to each of our daughters' special girls, and thrilled to have been made a great grandma on 30/11/11 to a gorgeous baby boy. In addition to the blessings of family I value my true friends. There's only one thing better than a friend you can trust and that's a friend who can trust you.
Laughter is the best medicine, however in company with most people adversity has not passed me by, although been unable to extinguish the joy of life.
