Never mind reading all this self-indulgent poppycock. Go and do something useful with your time instead. You could do no worse than visiting http://www.amnesty.org

Go on then!

Still here? Well, if you must know....

Equestrian, Raconteur and Officially-Recognised Boring Old Git. Occasional geek and website designer. Oh, and deaf git, also. On that note, please do not shout. It hurts and only makes it worse.

I was born and raised in Amersfoort in the Netherlands, and currently live and work in Bath, England. I get homesick almost daily.

I have photo-sensitive epilepsy.

I was definitely born after WWII, and know surprisingly very little about the things I am interested in, which conversely makes them all the more interesting to me. Savvy? I don't necessarily agree with everything I think, and believe that most music journalists never die - they waddle off to reveal their agenda for a derelict spiv nation in a media half-life more grotesque than anything I've ever been accused of....

I am in love with a gorgeous German redhead called Margret.

I am endeavouring to grasp the German language with a view to relocation to Berlin.

I cannot imagine a life without horses. It is both an honour and a privilege to ride such magnificent creatures. As a show jumper, horses (and Margret) are my reason(s) for being. Mostly....

I paint. I draw. I sculpt. I create, compose and produce music. I am proficient in clarinet, flute and piano.

My ongoing failure to finish my website is a constant niggle, as well as getting it up and running again - it hangs in the background like a guilty conscience, but there's always 2009, I know. The third book in my trilogy remains unfinished, unreadable and unpublishable, but then, how the other two got published and sold out is beyond even my comprehension.

Random fact: I look bloody awful with a beard. Just so you know.

My life is seldom dull.
