An ardent student of the science of consciousness in the macrocosm.
Sometimes wonders if reality is all just a dream, but then realises that dreams tend to make more sense.
Likes writing and photography, but loses patience in both fairly soon - words and colours are tenuous, tardy and tiresome media of thought...and other words starting with 't'.
Can sing a little, can play guitar a little, is waiting to get rid of the "a little" on each. Is in a musical duo with a high school friend, a venture which is expected to last a whole month. *Update: its been several months and we're actually making progress. Somebody call Guinness.*
Is in desperate love with the summer, a stale and crushed cigarette, and the hours after midnight.
Can play tennis and 8-ball fairly well, so long as the other player can't.
Is simply pig-incompetent at mathematics. Would probably be OK at it, if only it wasn't taught by people who teach mathematics.
Would like his retired life to be built around the following concepts: loud shirts, panama hats, cigars, kaluha & coke, card games, the beach, hot nights, house music, salt breeze.
Completely vulnerable to clicking binges with that cursed "flork around" button.
Countries visited: French Polynesia (Cook Islands), Canada, Hong Kong, France, Italy, western and southern U.S, England, India, Oman, Dubai, New Zealand, Fiji, Croatia, Hungary.

Message me if you're a fan of:
- Me - Film by David Lynch, anything with Charlotte Gainsbourg acting, and those late-night, small-budget European/Asian films. English dubbing merits immediate disqualification. - Writing by Iain M. Banks, Bill Bryson, J. G. Ballard, Truman Capote, and those nameless ones who scribble insights on toilet walls (e.g. If You Can Read This, You Are Probably Peeing On Your Shoes) - Music by God is an Astronaut, Boards of Canada, Explosions in the Sky, Team Sleep, Mogwai, and the sounds of inner-city suburbs at night time. - Girls who wear Wayfarers, jeans and white T-shirts
Also message me if:
- You have an inexplicable urge to send me large quantities of money (or marshmallows) - You have any philosophical observations to air (top marks for philosophy at university, if that qualifies me for your audience) - You want to know about some of the places I've been, (I want to be one of those travel-hardened people in the bar who gets free drinks just because they look so travel hardened) (these people may not actually exist) - Government assassins are trying to get into your apartment (I won't be able to help you, but I like to hear about these things) - You want me to write some lyrics for your obscure, passionate band (I have a tendency for impassioned obscurity) - You're Alessandra Ambrosio, and have realised how incomplete your life is without me.

Otherwise, I bid you a fond farewell, and leave you with one standard-issue quote (i.e. by someone you've not heard of, yet whose profound observations you will soon - inevitably - find life-altering and spiritually enhancing). And here it is:
"Language was invented to ask questions. Answers may be given by grunts and gestures, but questions must be spoken. Humanity came of age when man asked the first question. Social stagnation results not from a lack of answers but from the absence of the impulse to ask questions." - Eric Hoffer, a very observant man, and a jolly good quotee.
The profile name "Exemplar Sententia" is Latin. It means "Original Thought", something for which I have a deep and abiding hunger; one that is rarely satisfied.
