After a long while, one begins to see the nature of philosophy, rather than simply as a forum in which "actual things" are determined for their "ultimate natures".
Certainly, philosophy is poetry is dreaming is religion is science is politicking is choas is order: philosophy is the only thing that can be any of these and more, and is the thread common to all of these things.
Beyond this, however, it is - or should be, however may the smaller minds argue for a simple and final description of a mere illusory instant herein - an eternal struggle for redescribing the mostly indescribable evolutions in the mosaic of our experiences in the time following our rude awakening, using the molecules and particles of experiences inherited by us from dead realities and the most capable, if not simply the loudest, of their describers.
This is a process we must not merely attempt to understand: we must have as our understanding our thence ongoing performance of it, for our attempt to understand it in a manner that too intensely delves into the bygone modes will surely cripple our success at extricating ourselves from the world of the dead; indeed at knowing we are trapped within that underworld at all, as the dead itself.
