It's hard to care anymore.
It's hard to hope. But that's easy for me to say, I have plenty of privileges I take for granted...
I wish for there to be no pain for anyone. No more poverty or hunger or AIDs. We have the resources to be doing better. Half the world is in a dire situation in this way. Why? It can't possibly be their fault, and there certainly isn't a way for them to 'work' their way out.
