I live here in South Korea as teacher and missionary. I love children, so I enjoy working with them, though it's a bit tough sometimes. One thing you realize if you have traveled widely and taught like I have, is that people everywhere are the same, though they may think differently or have differing approaches to life.

I like travelling, playing the piano, hiking, riding a bike, playing table-tennis or just watching a soccer game. Sometimes I think I laugh too much for a guy. I've toured Asia and would like to see Europe anytime soon. Sorry, let me rephrase that: I would like to live in Europe or Canada. I used to like the U.S. but tired of everybody chasing the American dream and many more end up not catching it. However there's nothing wrong chasing dreams.

Studied Korean for two years at two universities... was very difficult, but it feels so good to be able to speak very well a language very different than mine.

The picture of me on this profile was taken inside a train in Japan - a country which is arguably the most polite in the world. Was there ten days and now back in Seoul.
