I am an example to the young.
I work too much in the summer and sleep a lot in the winter.
By now, much of the music I hear sounds familiar and fairly boring. The older tunes bring back memories and feelings, creating connections to the journey of my life.
It is mainly classical music that takes me beyond myself and my small life into the sublime.
I've experienced children, kittens and sharp tools. Lived in England & Switzerland & Israel. The world no longer frightens, so much as saddens, me. But I am filled with joy and savor the longing for that obscure object of desire I shall never attain.
I love good movies and the look of a beautiful woman on my high definition tv. I am grateful, happy and full of...zip.
PS please stop with all the lists. What are they for? They make my eyeballs roll into my head. |
