Dreamer
I don’t know where I am going
Hell is where I have been
You’d think I was a hundred years old
With all the things I’ve seen
I try to grasp hold of the future
But I can’t let go of the past
I have these visions and dreams
But how long can this last?
I give myself a hard time
Thinking with my head and not my heart
Trying to get ahead in life
But I don’t know where to start
I don’t know where I am heading
I seem to have lost all that I have found
I’m running from myself
And I can’t stop or slow it down
Maybe I love too much
Perhaps I live a little too extreme
In my own mind
I’m always relying on fantasies and dreams
Will I ever make it?
Am I strong enough to get through?
And yes I am a dreamer
But maybe your a dreamer too? |
