I'm a philosophy professor and have published on Heidegger, Whitehead, Dewey, and environmental philosophy. I also write fiction and have published a novel entitled Hume's Fork. My interests include literature (esp. of the American South), world religions (although I am not religious), and battling pseudo-science. I'm married to the most spectacular woman in the world, have three terrific children, and am an amateur bluegrass musician.
