I'm from a small town. I'm a rancher.... what're ya gonna do....
i've got an unhealthy fascination with classic literature (Jane Austen, Walt Whitman, Lord Byron, the Bronte sisters), Greek mythology, dance, and (obviously) heavy machinery.
I like music, aaalllll music- rock, country, classical..... if it's got good lyrics or a good tune, i'm in. The artist has to have something to say.
Springsteen's my hero, Waylon Jennings is my sanity, and James Dean is my idol.
I love film, the *black and whiter* the better. I'm a true sucker for the classics- Clark Gable, Gretta Garbo, Norma Shearer, and yes, even musical stars like Judy Garland.
My current favorites (and they change so often) :
Haight-Ashbury, cowboys, Dazed and Confused, Stanley, William Faulkner, Roseanne Cash, sarcasm, Tift Merritt, *Stand Still, Look Pretty,* my friend Chauncey, D.A. Levy, Cary Grant, Marlboro reds, Cash, elephants, and pinwheels. |
