I read and enjoy books by Chris Ryan and Andy McNab (in that order) but more interested in non-fiction than fiction. Have been introduced to Duncan Falconer books via this board, I'm thinking he might be just a little better than the rest.
Code breaking history and computers is my thing, spelling is not. Or maths for that matter...
Other books - Kathy Reichs (suitably gory), Ian Rankin, John Irving.
