I am a student at Central Michigan University. I am a band geek... at least the band geekyist non-music major you'll ever meet. I'm a proud member of the Chippewa Marching Band and plan to be as long as I'm a student at CMU. I am also a member of an indoor drum corps called Eos. I am actually majoring in philosophy. I finally decided this semester after hours of contemplating to give up on science and math and go into something that I actually enjoy. I still have to tell my mom, I don't think she's be very happy that I don't want to major in physics or chemistry anymore, it takes a different kind of person to make it through a physics undergrad program.
However band is my passion.
My main instrument is Saxophone, soprano is my favorite of the Saxophone family. I also play the oboe and am currently learning to play the fugelhorn for drum corps, because sadly there are no Saxophones in a corps :( I have also recently picked up the flute. I'm playing flute in a pit orchestra and am quickly learning how to not suck at it.
