I'm trying to expand my knowledge as much as I can by reading books and listening to different kinds of music, going to the theater, but sometimes it gets kind of hard because not many people around me are interested in doing that. (old description of me, down below is the new one, but I will still keep this bit as well)
Kind of different from the rest of the people, notices peculiar things.
Bad eyesight, afraid of losing it altogether, but it is improving luckily. Therefore consant fear of reading too much, but without it, what is life?
Me - movies: think Sailor Moon, Swan Princess, Moulin Rouge, Lord of the Rings, Mathilda, Avatar
Music: anything unusual, Franz Ferdinand, Last Shadow Puppets, Beach House, Raphael, many solo artists, always a big supporter of female artists who are not afraid to show their true feelings in their songs.
I love philosophy, and books which have nicely constructed characters so that they seem truly alive. Characters which are real and yet surprising. I guess that's me at the moment.
I think that fear of expressing your true self is what kills people these days. I used to have a tough time expressing myself but I think I'm growing as a person each day and getting happier. |
