I'm a former art school kid who joined the navy for adventure and a chance to learn photography while getting salt water in my eyes. While most of my fellow design classmates are now waiting tables, I flew in helicopters, got burned by jet exhaust, and shook desert dust out of my camera bag. And every once in a while, I had a hot shell casing fall down my shirt.
Now I work as a project director for Bridges To Prosperity, building suspended trailbridges for remote villages in the developing world. I'm about to move to Central America to run the program there, and then maybe grad school in NYC, or tuna-fishing in Australia, or who knows? It's a beautiful world; it'd be a shame not to see it all.
