for starters, i'm an obsessive audiophile. interested in avant garde hip-hop, experimental instrumental, fractured pop and postpunk, halloween scary sound tapes, creepy 70s sci-fi tv.
lately the films of John Cassavetes ('Husbands' and 'Faces' particularly) have drawn out emotions i haven't felt in years. i recently discovered Alexandro Jodorowsky and his film 'El Topo'. i haven't been blown away by an art film in a long time (probably not since David Lynch's 'Mulholland Drive'), but Jorodowsky's film gave me a reason to still believe in the power of cinema.
though i've rarely left the midwestern portion of America, I have never felt much warmth from the inhabitants of this area. somehow, no matter how hard i try, i can't seem to ever locate people who are willing to let me in and allow me to be myself without some major criticism.
luckily, i'm now on a job that will eventually allow me to get out of this part of the world and to pursue the artistic endeavours i've been putting together in my head for the last few years.

2. master turntablism
3. produce hip-hop beats
4. begin writing as a means to understand why certain things have happened in my life.
