I am a Junior at the University of Louisville. My major is Elementary Education with emphasis in English. I have a minor in music and English Literature. I sing in the choir at U of L. I work at the media desk at U of L's Ekstrom Library. I want to be a librarian someday.
I really enjoy movies, tv shows, music, video-games, and books. I have a really hard time trying to pick favorites in any of these categories. Movies: City of Angels, Wristcutters: A Love Story, and Sense and Sensibility. TV shows: True Blood, South Park, American Dad, and The Vampire Diaries. Music: Death Cab for Cutie, Cartel, and Imogen Heap. Video games: Dragon Age: Origins, The Sims 3, Skyrim, and old PlayStation platformers like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. Books: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Kitchen, and the Hunger Games. I really like a lot more of a variety than these, but these are the main ones that stick with me.
I also have a genuine interest in anything Irish. I love Irish literature, art, music, and language. I have played in Irish ensembles and am working on learning the language. I am not really positive if I have an Irish heritage, but I am very attracted to the country in my heart. I would love to travel there someday and may be doing a study abroad there a few summers from now.
I sing... like crazy. I have been in many bands as lead singer, but none have really had the certain qualities to get out of the basement and out into performing. I really love singing and would love to be in a band.. I just don't know if I will ever find the one I "click" with. |
