Back from West Africa. Originally from the Midwest, Chicagoland. Now attempting a degree in Diplomacy in order to pursue a career in that field.
I love the outdoors, road trips, handwritten letters, follow-through, Ultimate Frisbee, culture, communication, laughing, touching, and ancient history.
I'm a fan of David Bowie, The Beatles, Nina Simone (& classic female jazz vocalists in general), The Kinks, The Libertines, ACDC (& all rock and roll bands that can actually play their instruments), and Johnny Cash. I like a great deal of other music (incl Neutral Milk Hotel, Vampire Weekend, Florence & the Machine, Jobriath, John Butler Trio, Metric, Band of Horses, and The National).
I want to learn to surf. Can anyone teach me?
