I'm a touring professional musician of some15 years.I play guitar and sing. I like foreign films and ancient history. I also love to read, and I'm a hell of a cook. I like to have good beer and hold court with my friends.
I love Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple,AC/DC, The Who, Pink Floyd,Jeff Buckley , Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Nazareth, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath,The Cranberries,The Sex Pistols, Django Rheinhardt,and James Brown. Pretty much any rock or metal. Rap is fairly cool. Love reggae, jazz, blues, and world music. I really love blues, from most eras. Sonny-Boy Williamson, Otis Rush, Albert King, and Blind Willie McTell, are a few of my particular favorites.
I like reading, and I dig art too. I like meeting people in general, hearing their stories, digging their accents. I love truthfulness.
I like politics a bit, although I agree with NEITHER party in power here, on most all the issues.
If you don't like the U.S.A. I'm sorry. Americans are not all devoid of intelligence, and ignorant of foreign social fabric and history as most people think. Regardless of our government's policies, most citizens here are still people trying to live and love just like everyone else in the world. I've been overseas/ abroad and met many beautiful people. I think that half the people on this site are so factory made, cookie-cutter, plastic folk, YOU "KNOW" WHO YOU ARE!
My favorite books are the Torah, The Lord of the Rings, by Tolkien, All Thing Wise and Wonderful by Herriot, Huckleberry Finn by Twain, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Lo Kuan-Chung, The Golden Bough by Sir James George Frazier, and most all mythologies, religious manuscripts, philosophies, etc.
Some of my favorite movies are "Farewell my Concubine", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Ray", "Raise the Red Lantern", " 7 Samurai", "Snatch", "The Adventures of Baron Von Munchausen" " Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", and most any comedy, pulp,epic adventure,or drama.
