thats me with bare feet ..Pont des Arts Paris.
A few changes are in order,
I thought this was a Lawrence Durrell forum when of course its a Florkkkkkk in my heart, hence the name Sutcliffe

"I,"
don,t you just love that shortest word in the English language which directs us to the most enormously complex ego this side of Saturn.hmmm.
I am a celebrant of the 60,s and what an era that was.
Ask me about Dylan,I actually sang with him in London at the Black Horse pub when he was known as Zimmerman.
after the Parachute regiment I moved to Paris and became a street singer....was discovered then elevated to
rock and roll star...
Recorded for Columbia with Edith Piaf in the next door studio.Sang on same bill as Ray Charles at Palais du Sports and had an absolute ball at the Olympia with...no,I,m shy..dare I write this name, maybe next time.
Alors mes amis.....
quelle vie.
My dad played guitar with Django Rheinhardt in Paris and Bruxelles
and if there are 2 people who recognise the name I will be delighted.

Read abut the hippie/flower child thingy in 62 or was it 64.
Flew to San Fran then took 3 months to hitch from there to Los Angeles with the Flower children

Ahhh those halycon days of wonder, wine, dope and free love.
As they say in Dublin
"Feckin Magic"

I adore women and believe implicitly that
"A life without passion is a life unlived"
I utterly despise the corporate culture which intrudes more and more blatantly into my life.
Mediocrity and Murdochism are devouring far too many of our young.
Warholds prediction that we would all have our 15 mins of fame is becoming a grim reality.
Within 10 years I believe will have
"Hunt your Neighbours
Kill them and win a billion."
Its degrading and sad.
Thank the Gods for laughter

Music...hmmmm
I love opera classical and my fav rockers AC/DC

Three all time favourite authors.
Durrell,Miller,
Katzanzakis.
When i was a very young soldier I met and escorted LD in cyprus.
Lived in France for 5 years.
Painted in Avignon.
Voyaged to Knossos and Big Sur where I danced homage to Miller and Katzanzakis.
I,m rereading the Avignon quintet
astonishing language, its like getting stoned on the perfume of wild orchids.
Love fine literature,
I would be amazed and delighted to see on my tombstone.
"He danced to the music of time"
