floating above my head in space
Her green eyes caught me up
saved me
from some distraction of the day
and reeled me in
I pressed my nose up to hers
so our breath could touch
and the camera clicked

My skin turns to shiny oil
I am now frozen with her
forever for others to find
lest they forget

There is no war outside

inside us is a beautiful bloody battleground
