Message boards changed my life. I was a strange kid and I'm still the kind of person who can only handle having one good friend. People you meet over the internet are different. One, they aren't afraid to be themselves because they aren't themselves in the room, they are their screen name. Two, if you search long and hard enough, you can find a message bord for anything. Here were thousands of people who thought (and obsessed) in the same way as me, and they were only as far away as my fingertips.
A few of my obsessions:
The t.v. show Blood Ties and the Blood Books that it was based off of.
Harry Potter which is basically the reason I can read. It was my first obsession, message board, and the first website I was ever kicked out of. I'm pretty sure that I'm still not allowed in the official WB Harry Potter website.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Enough said.
Laurell k. Hamilton. In the past 6 weeks, I've read 20 NOVELS written by her.
