Hello, I am Tom. My nickname is Tomac, because I am named after my father and it gets very confusing.
I have a very boring day job part time. nothing happens and in a perfect world i'll be free of it someday.
to be frank, I am a smart person. if you need proof, I am a member of mensa, but I do not need proof. I don't like to have to say it, and it is a symptom of today's poisonous anti-intellectual atmosphere that it's considered rude to say so, but otherwise people don't really pay attention to what I say based on how goofy I look.
I have also had a history of depression, and I tend to be very frank when addressing a view contrary to reasonable interpretation of the facts.
if you'll still talk to me, after knowing all that, I am rather very fond of science fiction and literature. i love art, and the art of film, and the art of graphic novels, and the art of video games. I love science, and if you're a girl who loves science too I might just propose marriage right there.
there's a few places where I buck the nerd stereotype. while I am a bit overweight I have a lot of muscle to hold up the exptra weight. I try and stay conscious of how socially awkward I look talking about my latest nerdy obsession. I can stand up for myself, too.
I don't really spend every moment thinking about sex, and I don't pressure for it. I am also straight, so if you're a dude you're going to have to settle for the pleasures of debate and multiplayer gaming.
I use drugs. I use drugs responsibly, as they help one to acheive alternate, productive states of mind. if you consider all illegal drugs to be harmful you are blatantly, scientifically wrong.
