I am divorced and have 2 grown up kids who have finally left home. This freedom was shortlived as i cared for my terminally ill mother for nearly a year until she died 3 weeks ago.
It was a joy to give back to her for all she had done for me, but also very stressful.
I am an avid animal lover, a successful recovering alcoholic and love chatting to interesting likeminded people with a wicked sense of humour.
Although I am originally from America, I have lived in England for 40 years. In spite of this, I still have an American accent.
My interests are varied and I enjoy pretty much everything there is to offer...."eyes wide open".
