The only bad thing about great music is when it ends.
I love new music and movies as well as books that hold my interest long enough for me to finish reading them. The only things that come close to my love of music are my love of cooking, English (the subject not just the language itself), and Japanese culture.
I just started piano in 2007. I love it so far I just wish I was better. I've been singing since I could talk and I love to sing many different styles.
I lied before I don't love music...I'm in love with music. There isn't anything that motivates me more. I cried more listening to songs than at funerals. Laughed at lyrics more than any joke. And I'll sing my heart out until the day that I die!
My second oldest interest would have to be writing and reading as well. It takes a lot for me to really enjoy a book and if I don't like it I'm not opposed to putting it down. I've loved reading since the second grade and Shel Silverstein (Where the Sidewalk Ends to be more specific).
After that came cooking. This is an interest that came mostly out of necessity. I've been cooking for myself and my mother since I was 8 years old. That spark became a raging flame that has me constantly experimenting and trying to find new things to cook and new ways to make old dishes.
Finally the newest of my obsessions...Japan! The thought of going to Japan and completely immersing myself has been on my mind for a relatively short amount of time compared to some of my other interests. A mere 10 years of thoughts pervading my mind dreams of cherry blossoms and kimonos...the city, the country, I have to see it all. I've already planned to go for a year after I've earned my Bachelors degree and I wouldn't be opposed to living there for the rest of my life.
Well that's my life in a very small, web-friendly nutshell if you have any other questions feel free to message me. |
